Construction

In the field of architecture and civil engineering construction is a process that consists of the building or assembling of infrastructure. Far from being a single activity, large scale construction is a feat of human multitasking it is normally the job of someone who is a project manager and supervised by someone higher up like a project architect. However that isn't what I think of when I think of Construction.

For me when I think of construction sites and heavy machinery which most think of and even the Internet will imply. But for me construction is something that is in everything that we see from something as complex as the human body to something as simple as a t-shirt but it is all constructed in some way. However one thing that I think most people forget about when thinking about construction is Spider Webs.

Spider Webs are something that people brush away and never look closely at the amazing construction that takes place within it, but if you just look for a few seconds you can see that detail and how well constructed they are.

With in Spider Webs I a only going to be looking into the way that the web is constructed because in one of my final pieces I am going to use wire as part of the garments structure, so by looking into the unique nature of Spider Webs I am going to try and develop my final piece to be as diverse.
